Prolegomena

Welcome to the website of Halkography, a site dedicated to Art. It revolves around five projects The Angel's Nest, The City of Gold, The Diary of an Angel, The Trail of Dawn and Odoiporiko. It serves as a hub, bringing more individuals together, where art can unite them and distance cannot. All projects have recorded chronicles and events that happened in the past ten years. The website is structured as such to allow the reader to browse artworks and biographies of various artists directly involved with a travelling manuscript called The Diary of an Angel and its creator Halkios and their journeys. The Diary of an Angel is in Cyprus since the 8th of August, 2013.

Halkios started his walk around Cyprus on the 21st of September 2013 covering 250 km on foot. The last Memories and Dreams of an Angel, are still collected through a manuscript, For Love, For Friendship and for Peace, as the manuscript is circulating among the Cypriot Artists that are showcased under The Second Floor, and The First Floor webpages under The City of Gold. His walk is featured under the pages of Odoiporiko.

On the 19th of December, 2013 the Diary was presented at Pecha Kucha 20x20.

On the 20th of December, 2013 the Diary completed 346 pages out of its 364 pages with a small gathering at the Gallery Argo.

The copyrighter, presenter and writer Demetrios Fyrios received the Diary on the 6th of January, 2014 in Athens, Greece.

The writer and psychologist Stavria Thalassi, completed her entry in the Diary of an Angel on the 11th of February, 2014 in Lefkosia, Cyprus and with it The Second Floor called The Abyss.
