About David Price

David is an Episcopal priest having served parishes in various parts of Texas since 1984. He is married and has three grown children, two daughters and a son. Writing came round as an avocation in 2002 with no explanation. He had never imagined composing poetry before that unless it had been assigned by a teacher. Of course the ministry is filled with tasks that involve communication and the richness and power of words. Scripture and sacred liturgy are carried by means of human language. Observing the elements of life, human experience, and how people fit in with the vast and mysterious universe is what spiritual ponderings are about, by and large. Simple connections, seeing the extraordinary within ordinary, the wonder of love meaning and longing - these especially get David thinking and writing. He wants to thank Halkios for the invitation to contribute to his Angels project. The Diary, he says, is a profound stimulus for creativity and friendship.
